Contract between us

www.largeprintbookshop.co.uk requires payment in full for goods and delivery before your order can be accepted.

We will acknowledge your order as soon as we receive it, but will only accept it when we know that we can fulfil your order for the price (or less) that is quoted on our website, together with the applicable delivery charge.

Your credit or debit card will only be charged on the day that we despatch your goods. We reserve the right to clear cheques before despatching your goods.

Prices and availability

Many large print books are published under a license from the copyright holder which lasts only five years. Often books remain in print for a much shorter period than this. Because of this, sometimes we will list titles as being in print, which turn out to be unavailable. We receive a weekly data feed of what titles are available, but if we become aware that we are unable to supply you, we will inform you immediately.

We hold very few titles in stock, but source our titles from the UK and USA. Most titles will be delivered to you within 7 to 10 days of placing your order. We will keep you informed of likely delivery times, and you may cancel your order if the delivery time exceeds what is acceptable to you.

The prices quoted are our price to you. If we find that prices have increased we will inform you immediately, and you will have the right to cancel your order.

Refunds and returns

Books and audiobooks which are damaged, faulty or have been supplied in error may be returned for replacement or a refund. If a replacement is required this will not be despatched until we receive the faulty copy back. The return postage will be refunded. If a refund is required, the original postage and packing cost and the return postage will be refunded. Refunds will not be processed until we receive the goods back.

Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations you may return any goods, for whatever reason, within seven days of receiving them. Books must be returned in pristine and saleable condition, and audiobooks must be sealed in their original packaging. Return postage must be at your expense, and original postage and packing costs will not be refunded.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice, the reason for the return, and must be securely packaged. All refunds will be made via the method of original payment.
